Most students choose BHMS not because they deeply believe in homeopathy, but because they dream of becoming doctors.
But here’s the truth no one tells you:
Homeopathy is a completely different system of medicine, not the same as MBBS.
Once you take admission in BHMS, you are expected to practice only homeopathy.
But in real life, very few patients prefer homeopathy, and most BHMS doctors end up prescribing modern (allopathic) medicines—often without legal rights to do so.
Many homeopathy colleges have few real patients. Some are run mainly for profit, not education.
This leads to frustration, confusion, and wasted years for many students.
What you need to ask yourself:
Do I really understand what homeopathy is?
Do I want to practice it for the rest of my life?
Am I okay with the limited job options it offers?
If your dream is to practice modern medicine, then BHMS is not the right path.
Final Advice:
Before taking admission, get full information. Don’t join just because it’s a “doctor” degree. Choose what’s right for your future—not just what’s available.
