DUTIES OF A PHYSICIAN
1. The physician should never say that he would surely cure the patient.
2. The physician should not give assurance of relapse or further attack.
3. The physician should not say that he would be able to cure the patient more rapidly than other local physicians.
4. The physician should never be directed by the patient, always lead the patient in his own way.
5. The physician should not get puzzled by the praise or vexation of the relatives or attendants of the patient.
6. The physician should not condemn other physicians in presence of patient or his relatives.
7. If the physician treats the patient without any remuneration he will not get credit honour.
8. The physician should not show that he felt irritant or annoyed of the patient.
9. The physician should not show his calibre to any one of his own accord, if so, he will loose his prestige.
10. If a patient comes to a physician, he should examine him thoroughly, and should take his case history attentively.
11. The physician should not forget to be skillful, slow speaking, modest, inquisitive, sympathetic and devoid of learning.
12. The physician should read Materia Medica daily whenever he gets time.
13. Though the Homoeopaths treat the patients according to the symptoms available yet they should read Anatomy and Physiology when they get time.
14. If the physician (Homoeopath) thinks that the patient’s condition is growing worse then he should consult a senior.
15. The homoeopathic physician should consult and discuss with his colleague Homoeopaths and increase his knowledge.
