Let us understand the role of ‘Feeling’ in understanding a patient

Mind ka role pehle poori tarah samjha nahi gaya tha aur patient ki feeling par kaam lagbhag nahi hota tha, jab tak Dr. M. L. Sehgal ne mind rubrics ko use karne aur har case me patient ki feeling ko samajhne ki soch develop nahi ki.

Dheere dheere mental state aur mind rubrics ka application duniya bhar ke practitioners ke liye important part ban gaya.

Healthy state me hamari emotions intellect ke control me hoti hain.

Matlab agar kisi misfortune ki wajah se insan ko rona aaye to intellect usko reality samjha kar accept karne me madad karta hai, jiski wajah se patient ghanton, dinon ya mahino tak nahi rota.

Lekin sick state me emotions intellect ko rule karna shuru kar deti hain.

Agar patient kisi misfortune par rota hai to uski intellectual faculty reality ko samajhne me fail ho jati hai aur patient lambe time tak usi emotion me rehta hai, jab tak medicine emotions se zyada intellect ko strong na bana de.

Observe kiya gaya hai ke jab patient apni physical problems narrate karta hai to involuntarily uski hidden ya suppressed emotions erupt ho jati hain.

Hidden emotions

Hidden ka matlab: patient ko khud pata hota hai andar kya chal raha hai, family, friends ya colleagues ko sirf lagta hai kuch wrong hai, lekin actual reason koi nahi samajh pata.

Agar patient se poocha bhi jaye to woh silent reh sakta hai ya keh sakta hai:“Sab theek hai.”

Kuch patients apni emotions isliye hide karte hain:taake dusre unki wajah se worried na ho,unhe lagta hai koi unki problem solve nahi karega,ya unko darr hota hai ke reputation kharab ho jayegi.

Suppressed emotions

Suppress ka matlab: patient express karna chahta tha, share karna chahta tha, lekin phir bhi andar daba leta hai.

  • Reasons:
    • “Kisi ke paas mere liye time nahi hai.”

Kabhi kabhi patient specially physician ke paas isliye aata hai taake hidden ya suppressed emotions share kar sake.

  • Reasons:
    • agar emotions bahar nahi nikali to life aur worse ho jayegi,
