hot  patient – Dr Saab, garmi humse se bilkul bardasht nahi hot i, thand toh phir bhi thoda bahut bardasht kar leta hoon, garmi toh bardasht nahi kar paata hoon).

Thirsty patient – Patient jab bhi baar baar paani peeta rehta hai can think of natrum mur.

Left sided affections – Saare complaints left sided hi marked hai..

Mapped (geographical tongue) -Tongue ka actual margins nahi dikhayi dega, ringworm on tongue, daad hoga zubaan par round round shape hoga..

Example – Patient says mujhe pahle left sided kidney stone hua hai, main paani zyada peeta hoon aur garmi zyada lagti hai..O/E tongue mein ringworm dikhta hai toh give natrum muriaticum.

*Discharge* – Thick, white, acrid and watery.

Thick aur watery discharge hoga saath mein acrid aur white hona chahiye.

School girl headache from sunrise to sunset – School girl here refers to at the age of puberty, koi bhi insaan male or female, school jaaye ya na jaaye, irrespective of it will suffer during this age of puberty.

Agar koi ladka ya ladki, pubertal age mein agar zyada mental labour kar raha hai, anemic hai aur usko headache hai then usko natrum muriaticum de sakte hai.

Emaciation in spite of eating well, emaciation marked in neck, from above downwards.

( Patient – Dr Saab, yeh ladka bahut khana khaata hai par phir bhi isko kuch lagta nahi hai, on examination neck bahut emaciated hai toh then think of natrum muriaticum).

Anger with pale livid face – because there’s marked anemia in natrum muriaticum, pale face hoga.

Headache from eye strain, preceded by blurred vision.

Patient – Dr Saab, chaar ghante laptop pe kaam karta hoon toh headache hone lagta hai, mujhe garmi bardasht nahi hot i, bahut paani peeta hoon aur headache only left side hot a hai – think of natrum muriaticum.

Hammering type of headache, cracks in middle of lower lip.

Case – A girl 22 years old, came with complaints of warts of palms in hands, started from left to right, hot  patient, given Natrum muriaticum 200, got better.

Eruptions in bend of joints (Tinea cruris) –

Case example – tinea cruris, hot  patient and aversion to milk, can think of natrum muriaticum.

Pain appears and disappears gradually.Here we have to apply Boeninghausen’s idea of grand generalization, Any symptoms which is true for a part is also true on whole ( Saare pains dheere dheere aayenge, dheere dheere jaayenge yahan ek part mein bhi consider kar sakte hai ya body on a whole bhi consider kar sakte hai).

Goitre – Hypothyroidism.

(Case example – hypothyroidism patient, delayed and scanty menses, hot  patient, aversion to milk, salt desire – give natrum muriaticum.

Trembling of the whole body from tobacco and smoking.

(It’s a good medicine for parkinsonism also).

Case example – Dr Saab, meri biwi ki jab se death hui hai tab se, jab bhi main smoke karta hoon toh, mere haathon mein trembling hot a hai – Natrum muriaticum.

Tongue mapped, with insular red patches.

Itching nettle rash after bodily exertion.

Infantile marasmus, loss of flesh though eating well.

Craving for salty food.

Case example – Patient with left sided kidney stone, hot  patient, very lean and thin to see, craves salt – Natrum muriaticum.

Case – A lady 3 months pregnant, had severe morning sickness craving for salt, was very lean and emaciated, given Natrum muriaticum.

Case – A lady 4-5 months pregnant, had tinea cruris, craving salt,hot  patient, with past history had left sided renal stones, left sided herpes zooster with mapped tongue – gave natrum muriaticum.

Fever blisters on lips –

Natrum muriaticum is a good remedy for herpes simplex and herpes zooster, ek herpes virus ke family se hi belong karta hua ek virus ki wajah se lips pe blisters ho jata hai.

Aversion to coition from dryness of vagina.

Sterility with too early and too profuse menses.

Mammary gland emaciated.

Late learning to walk and talk.

Case – Baby, 2.5-3 years, has constipation, doesn’t stand at all, only sits in one place, walking toh door ki baat khadha nhi ho pata hai, jab bhi hum log khaate hai tab namak ki dibbi lekar salt khata rehta hai, thermals hot  patient, Given natrum muriaticum.

*Modalities* –

*Aggravation* –

From sympathy, violent emotion, exertion of eye and mind, puberty, coition, noise, touch, full moon.

Full moon and new moon aggravation ke agar patients dekhna ho toh psychological cases mein dekh sakte hai..

Depression ka patient khud batayega ki Dr Saab, jab bhi poornim aur amavasya aata hai tab mujhe neend hi nahi aati, aur thoughts badh jate hai.

Patient jo antipsychot ic drugs le rahe hai toh waise patients mein yeh sab maloom hona difficult hai ki new moon and full moon ka kya asar hot a hai un par.

*Amelioration* –

Open air, cold bathing, tight clothing, sweating and rubbing, pressure.

Left sided – (both lachesis and natrum muriaticum).

Lachesis is hot  patient, thirsty, left sided affections, but difference is that lachesis ko tight clothing aggravate karta hai ..

Whereas natrum muriaticum is better by tight clothing.

*Ailments from* –

Grief, silent grief, anger, suppressed anger, vexation, fright, mortification, reserved displeasure,old disappointment, emotional excitement, disappointed love, being scroned, from anticipation, masturbation, loss of fluids, head injury, salt abuse.

*Appetite*-

Hunger without relish, thirst for large quantities of water, unquenchable, craves – salt, sour things, oysters, fish, milk, bitter things, farinaceous food.

Aversion – bread, meat, coffee, tobacco, fats.

Disagrees – bread, fat and acid food.

*Mind* –

Excessive irritability ( baat baat mein gussa, gussa toh iske naak pe hi rehta hai..

Anger over trifles.

Dwells on past disagreeable occurrences.

Consolation aggravation. ( sir meri roommate hai yeh, isko main kitna samjhaati hoon, iska breakup hua tha sir, main bolti thi, isko acha hoga..but isko toh mere upar hi gussa aata hai..

Hatred of those who offended – Mai usko chodunga nahi, usne mere saath aise Kiya..

Delusion she looks wretched when looking in a mirror.

Searching for the thieves in the house, after having dreamt of them.

Mortification, mildness, weeping aggravation by consolation, kind words.

Jealousy between women and between children.

In between children is jab newborn baby hot a hai toh tab bade baby ko jealousy hot a hai ki ab Sara care and affection chot e baby ko hi milraha hai..
